At Visualites, we use polycarbonate (PC) for our lenses because they are significantly lighter than glass or other lens options, offering exceptional impact resistance and durability. Thanks to advancements in manufacturing, we now offer Ultra-Thin PC lenses, we now hollow out the outer edges of the lens where excess material is not necessary, resulting in a lower profile lens. This process allows us to make the lightest reading glasses available.

TR-90 is one of the best materials for reading glasses frames, renowned for its exceptional lightweight properties that enhance comfort by reducing pressure on the nose and ears.
