Optical Quality + Blue Light Filtering
Access to blue light upwards of 475 nanometers is essential for eye health and exposure in the upper range helps with the production of melatonin. To prevent this we design our glasses to only block about 55% of the 400-450nm range of blue light. We do this by applying a blue light coating with a yellow tint to the glasses. This tint is designed to filter these blue light rays in a balanced and effective way.

Construction
Durable Compression Mount
The Visualites C is made with the compression mount construction that was introduced in the Visualites 8. This screwless design offers a cleaner look and a sturdier connection than a screw mount construction.
The nose bridge on this model is a single piece of molded TR-90 in place of the metal temple arms. Like all of the Classic collection the TR-90 is hypoallergenic, extremely lightweight and flexible for increased comfort. The silicon sleeves on the temple arms offer a secure grip while increasing comfort.

I have purchased and been very pleased with them. So I decided to try their "blue" reading glasses for computers, etc. Again, I find the quality excellent. They are comfortable to wear, light in weight and I do feel I have much less eye stain using them with my iPad, etc. I very much would recommend them.

I found Visualites at my optometrist’s office nearly 15 years ago. My main concern with readers is distortion and weight, you will find little to no distortion with these readers and they are very light. I won’t wear any thing but Visualites and neither will you. Give them a try!

I'm a long-time user of Visualities readers, so was looking forward to the blue light filter pair. But the glasses are too wide for my head & won't stay put. Never had this issue with the regular readers.
